Depending on context I could see myself asking a followup question. In this specific instance, no that's enough for me personally. As I can see from the other replies the OP made my assessment was in line with my personal values.

Saying it is your favorite book is one thing. Saying it "changed your life" is another and yes, I'd think anyone who's life was changed by that particular book is indeed an idiot. I just don't see myself wanting to

Homologation of vehicles for import is... non trivial to say the least. This route would only end with your brand new truck in a crusher unless you really, really like doing paperwork.

Unfortunately Toyota doesn't currently have plans to bring the 70 series over. I'd love to buy one but for better or worse there's not much of a market in the US for a stripped down Land Cruiser with no power windows, power l

Yeah I guess 175V AC might get a little spicy with direct skin contact but I don't see this actually being dangerous just from a broken "thread". Point breaks would only result in current flowing through a small bit of skin

I'm curious to know more about how much vibration your solder joints see. I agree that most crimped connections tend to be sub-par but in my experience that is due to either bad tools, bad materials or both. Personally I use Wagos if w
