Any suggestions on protecting credential transfer in a MUD? I have been wanting to build one but honestly I'm used to the convenience of HTTPS and the passing of credentials over a socket is preventing me from starting.

From my understanding, it uses HTTPS to perform dns lookups. This has the benefit of encrypting your dns lookups so that people reading packets can't read them. However, your pc and the DOH provider still can read/store/analy

So far, my go-to has been Vudu. Sure, you have to rent/buy. But $3 to watch that movie you're itching to watch, or $9 to own is very reasonable. When I was a teenager and Napster was huge, casual piracy was a thing. Now that I mak

Children are innocent, thoughtful, and full of anticipation for life. The death of a child is a tragedy. "Here ends the joy of my life" is the proper opening to such a diary entry, and would likely be my words as well.
