I recommend watching Jeff Horchoff on YouTube. He is very polite and his bee removal videos are oddly calming. I've been subscribed for a year or two now. https://youtube.com/c/JeffHorchoff

It requires respecting nature as a new class of asset. I think anyone might understand who has had the beautiful field next to their home developed into a neighborhood, or watched the woods behind their house torn down and developed. Had th

Alpaca sent me a notice this morning that they are also restricting trades. It's network behavior like this that is troubling.

Can someone who knows more about the subject that I do comment on the statement "electric powered vehicles are coal powered vehicles?" I'm seeing that in conservative circles.

I believe Russia's goal in that work was not to get Trump in but to destabilize. They are certainly succeeding.

I think this black and white view is how the constitution was written, and in boolean logic would be how it is designed. But reality has many shades of grey. Would you trust your personal banking to an institution with history of leaking&#x

Primarily right-wing apps, websites, subreddits, communities. I'm afraid there will be attempts to cite some kind of complicity and ban them. I'm troubled by it because right-wing != violent, and 74 million people voted for the re

Never let a good crisis go to waste. I think we are seeing the beginning of a purge of a certain line of thought from the internet, using a few crazy people as the catalyst.

Sure. And then political pressure on CAs to deny certificates will take care of that. Or on ISPs to not transmit data from certain outlets. Or on registrars to delist domains. There's plenty of ways to de-platform.

You'd never see any of it. Depending upon who it damages, it either (a) wouldn't be published, or (b) it would be suppressed by media outlets for violating some obscure policy.

I don't support how Trump has handled the election. Before, after, during. We would all be better off if he would stop this and uphold our tradition of peaceful transition of power. What I'm not seeing the media talk about is what

I know very little about this. Is it possible to get my sequence from one of the commercial groups doing this, and then "look it up" in a genome reference to verify my brown eyes, for example? I acknowledge the lack of knowledge l

I saw an advertisement for an "apprenticeship" at a UK game development tool company that I'm a fan of. It said applicants must be aged 16 to 24. Is that standard practice in UK? How is that not age descrimination?

Uncool, but also political exaggeration. Burning an effigy of Donald Trump is an analogue. Nobody expects someone to catch Donald Trump on fire, and no one expects anyone to behead Anthony Fauci.

I listen to NPR often. What they say is generally factual and true; however I often note that a bias shows through what they do not mention when covering a topic. That's why we have the concept of the truth and the WHOLE truth.
