+1 for anything by Mankiw. We read several of his books when I was studying Econ in college a few years ago. Given your interest in inflation, government spending, etc, you'll want to focus on the chapters on Macroeconomics. I also found a

The only way I'd hire this guy is if it was a parody. As a parody, it's pretty good, but as an actual reverse resume it just seems really weird. I'm sure he'll get a bunch of offers from other companies besides Google. I just don't see this

Very cool site, I've been thinking about something like this for a while now. It might be helpful to view the events on a calendar so you can plan things out or easily check out what's going on over a few weekends.

I used to spend a lot of time on TC, but there's so much fluff and crap to filter through it's not worth it anymore. Now I only find myself there if there's an interesting link on HN. And the best articles by far are written by guest author
