Outside of Ads the only people I see video chatting typically use Skype on a laptop, live video seems kind of bothersome when you can just record videos or take photos and share them for later viewing

The only thing that seems to have worsened is image search, when search by image was first added it was easy to get other copies of an image, now with AI magic it seems to find results in the same category better but not the exact image you

The first time I tried OSM there were only a couple of roads in place of nearby towns, tried again a couple of years later and everything was there, even more detailed than google's maps So it can definitely change.

Then you don't know the meaning of rampant. A friend of mine had welded a small basket, grinded parts of the frame and let them rust, engraved his name on an old bike for commuting, even with a thick motorcycle chain it got stolen.

The nice thing about btrfs vs ZFS is that you can just use it like a normal filesystem ignoring all the advanced features and still get the benefit of checksumming (plus duplicated metadata by default on spinning disks) and compression

The main issue with just trimming is that sprouts coming up from roots of nearby trees have infinite energy and will get thicker every time you cut them. Not to mention that the worst weeds also spread horizontally
