I didn't downvote you, but it's probably because your comment added nothing to the conversation. We're already down here at the bottom of the page, we already slogged through the gratuitous inline quote, and then there's

A charitable reading of the post you're responding to would probably note some sarcasm in that quoted line.

I like their Custom Cash card (5% back on your top spending category each cycle) cause it can fill in the gaps left by other cards. Their website and their app are both absolute garbage though.

With this scheme it seems you could concentrate all the twisty complicated stuff to a small area in the body of the plane and use rubber hoses to deliver the air to the control surfaces.

It might be kind of exciting if it stopped people from traveling around so damn much. But of course everyone will still take 2-4 weeks every year to fly to one of the same generic vacation destinations and double or quadruple their lifetime

Obviously more than one person can occupy a housing unit (where each parking space can accomodate only one car), but this report from 2020[0] seems to indicate that LA has more than enough housing to accomodate its residents, it's just

20 years ago I was using SunRays which were neat because you could tie a desktop session to a physical smart card and have it instantly pop up on any terminal you stuck the card into. If I recall at some point there was even a SunRay laptop

The industrial washing machine will last a long time and it is repairable if it breaks down. But the one guy on this coast who services and can get parts for it is pretty busy and if you can't offer him a long-term contract to maintain

Almost everything I buy works great. But I also do a lot (sometimes months) of research before I buy anything. I like to ask my friends what they have and how long they've had it/how they feel about it. If I can, I borrow things a
