I can report firsthand (well, nearly) on the effectiveness of correctly administered electroshock therapy. My mother has been treated successfully with modern electroshock therapy for major depression. It is entirely painless and the only

Status updates are a new kind of conspicuous "consumption": instead of buying that pair of designer jeans for the big night out I'll just post a witty status to show off. Nothing wrong with that. Maybe even better than consumerism: no natur

Got invited to Mini-Seedcamp. Got covered by Scoble. Got invited to YC interview. Got rejected after YC interview. Launched anyway. I thought that was obvious?

If you use it consistently it gets pretty addictive & you'll start doing more things that are good for you. That being said, with the current UI it's not as effective as it could be. Baby steps ...

Long-term: CPA: cost per action. You're a brand and run a campaign to make people do things? We can make you help that happen. Short-term: premium paid app

Interesting observation. I'm looking at the stats right now & Scoble vs. HN is indeed an interesting battle to observe. It's bit, ummm, one-sided ... I'll do a post-launch blog post on this tomorrow.
