I am referring exactly to "must be connected to the server to do any source control work. There is no local repository..." which is plainly wrong by any means. SVN client supports equally well as "svn:" protocol as "

I am using it for Sciter development. For my case: one|two developers + hundreds of read-only observers + a number of patch senders it is a perfect tool that far. TortoiseSVN (Windows) and analogous tools (MacOS and Linux) are really unbea

Well, yes and no. In my area of responsibility and expertise I (as anyone else) can do stuff 10x times better and faster. I know patterns and a set of solutions that help me to do that. But outside of that area I can be that <1x guy. Pro

Problem is not that all of us are capable to come up with good solutions at time constrained conditions. For some (including myself) sleep over the problem is required. Experience helps in some cases to answer immediately but not always. Li

Problem is not in harvesting the energy but in delivering it. The only reasonable option is to beam highly energetic beam back to Earth. Do we want us to be browned by l/masers from the orbit?

HTML is nothing more than grouping definition of DOM elements. One of possible ways of defining element agglomerations. It is not bad or good, it just allows to make job done - to group (semantically link) DOM elements together. But the DOM

I would not say that Web UI is that more complex than desktop UI. In principle. It is media that changed quite a lot - spectrum of devices that we need to show our UI on. We had pretty much fixed 80x24 character terminals, then we had 640

Again, just in case... In Sciter, all input elements are ordinary styleable primitive DOM elements. <select> is there too so you can style it in the way you want: select {...} select > caption {...} select > button {.

"core algo is simple" It is not that simple. In common case that's an LP task. It can be reduced to O(N) in some cases but in worst case it has polynomial time-complexity.
