I don't know if actually being able to afford real estate is 'doing better', it's more a 'not doing worse' situation imo.

Seems like an overgeneralization. I get it when FPS players want the best performance: players have FOMO of the best reaction time and the games are more built for fast action than contemplative scenery watching. I wonder if players of sing

I recall reading about it in a Spectrum magazine in the 80s. While interesting, there was not much you could do with it since most software didn't need it.

I agree with you in the general case, but considering the number of bids above average I'm not sure it's such a burden to be the one who has to deal with it in this case ;) I don't think David Lynch really needed that 'b

I didn't have to be '4K', it just should be sharp - Apple was right in 2012 with the 'retina' concept. TV manufacturers doubled the resolution and those panels trickled down to PCs. Games and movies don't need

Reading the video RAM directly to generate an HDMI signal gives you about the same image an emulator does. Loses a bit of the 'fuzzy retro' appeal imo ;) The same approach is also used by the 'ZX HD' expansion for the ZX

I can't recall any car that didn't have any 'teething problems'. Some cars I've owned had multiple recalls. Of course it doesn't look good, but often it's to fix the probability of a problem occurring: it&

There's the law of conservation of energy. If you want a nice bright big screen there's no way around consuming a lot of electricity. If your baseline is a 32 inch LED screen it's not surprising a 65" OLED will have a wo
