I had to stop reading when they dismissed analog dials. My car and every thing I own would be easier to use with analog dials.

It's nice that we've got the most valuable part of Flash: a vector rendering engine. I do miss Flash's editor for these types of content, though.

Slowest weaponization ever. If they'd just let modders make money, they would have already stolen legions of devs from iOS.

At least now we know the minimum bar to get Facebook to temporarily pretend to change a policy: be the leader of a first-world nation.

If you use the word "deserve" you're probably no longer talking about economics.

Not sure why the Carberry desert doesn't qualify as a desert: https://www.tripadvisor.ca/Attraction_Review-g1871864-d50114... I was under the impression it holds the largest piece of "soft desert" in Canada,

I'm not blaming them. Their policy is rational. But if it weren't for the credit card cartel and their rules, my hunch is they wouldn't have this page.

Yeah that's true. The ability to self-publish is a huge deal, and very surprising from Nintendo.

I've heard this recently as well, but I've also read that the current difficulties we read about were also the case over a hundred years ago, but obviously with different causes. It's hard to know what's new and what&#x

From places that sell queens, usually by mail these days. The last I heard they were only buying queens from New Zealand because American bees were getting too aggressive; not sure if that's still true.

This was common in central Canada in the 90s, where I worked for a beekeeper. I don't know if cyanide use is still common, but the majority of the dozen or so beekeepers I knew back then all did this and I understood it was common pra

In my experience most commercial beekeepers use cyanide gas to kill their bees after harvesting the honey; they start fresh with new queens in spring. The rare few who overwinter their bees use sugar syrup and store the bees in a cool ware

That sounds great, if they don't grind my computer to a halt. But if you host a site that lets bad actors chuck evil spew into the web stream, it doesn't matter what your content is. You are bad by association.
