What am I denying? That it is a hot summer. Or that I don't believe in climate change. For one, the records for temperature only go back a 100 years or so, so I would call it statistically insignificant. But, secondly, I truly woul

As a kid, I remember blackouts in New York City, and we had to sleep with wash clothes on our head, which was kind of impossible, and we would all make our way downstairs, and our parents would be hanging around outside cause it was cooler

Anecdotally, my sister's kid just got diagnosed with it. He is not overweight whatsoever, but they put frickin' ketchup on everything. But, yea the majority might be overweight, but anyone that eats just carbs could get it.

I have said this on other threads. But, I really miss nothing by having a flip phone for the last 1.5 years. Because I work in front of a computer, not having a computer in my pocket is amazing. If I am away from the computer, I am away

Flip phone - about $50 - you won't miss anything a "smart" phone has to offer. And anything you do miss, you can just use an Android tablet.

I drive a 2004 Lexus LS 430 and I just purchased a 2008 Ford F150 XL. I also use a flip phone, and listen to music on vinyl and my 5 disc CD changer. The more I have gone into the deep end on tech from a career standpoint, the more I crav

I left the city last year due to the lockdowns. One benefit is I now have a woodshop in my garage again. I have built a grandfather clock, china cabinet, and some other really cool stuff about 20 years ago. Just got my workbench built an

I plucked them from Google. As of this morning it says there are 4.26 Million deaths, and 7.9 billion people on earth. My equation as done with 4.25 and 7.8, but same difference. Locked down areas faired about the same as stringent areas.

What is the death rate of covid? like .01%. If you don't get the vax, your likelihood of dying is just so low, so why all the fearmongering? Edit - .054% chance of dying. 4.25M deaths worldwide out of 7.8 billion people.
