I have a question. How proposed solution can solve problem with exceptional control flow? Monadic approach skips calculations under the cover and one need to track branching in his head.

I saw many SOLID code bases hard to grasp and maintain because implementation hides data flow. The most evil workers are [D]-purists.

I worked with cvs, perforce, clear case, svn and mercurial before git. And each system force me to learn new concepts and a new set of commands. There is no one universal set. There is no surprise your vcs skills are not transfered to git.

I recommend to visit https://learngitbranching.js.org/ to understand git better instead of using various wrappers.

If you will do proper modeling in each intermidiate processing unit you never accomplish a task. It is software design 101. We check invariants on the endpoints not in the middle.

> they repay hundredsfold Most python apps is simple data proxies. Glue dicts from multiple sources into more complex dicts and pass further. If you will try to do proper modeling here you never accomplish a task.

Monad abstraction is a mere crutch to fulfill compiler greed. It is not needed in dynamically typed langs.

Yes, it isn't the same in a generic sense. But can be applied in many practical cases.

Table separation leads to record fragmentation and big IO cost on record fetching. Your ideal academic world will be crashed under production reality. "Millions of records". Bwa-ha-ha.

Author here. Yes, vial-http is not a REST tool, there are no discovery and navigation and all other high level stuff. But it can provide pretty comfortable experience with REST services too. SEO :)
