Yes it is convenient to express subsets/subtypes as closed intervals. But it doesn't cover all CS nicely.

C programmers can give you a couple of advises about "correct" modulo on negative numbers.

[0] denotes an element with offset 0 from the start of the array. [-1] denotes an element with offset -1 from the start of the array.

Ada ranges are closed intervals and need +1/-1 tweaks to handle a set of ranges.

For </<= intervals and 1-based indexing you have to write `for(i=1; i++; i <= N)`. So you lost nice property of having `upper - lower` number of iterations.

Sounds like a bad idea. If your storage follows HTTP API 1:1 then why you need backend at all? Take firebase all other db-as-service solutions. It's like developing without public interfaces. Implementation changes will break clients.

This PEP is the most vague defined proposal I've read so far. It's funny how statically typed languages want to drop macros and second semantic in favor of primary language like Zig. And somebody wants a second language with corre

I think most modern languages shifted towards slices due to security issues with sentinels. C++ span, rust, zig, go. It's very sad we need to use libc interfaces and deal with null terminated byte sequences.

Unfortunately after 1.9.1 ranger has changed color handling and ignores terminal colors and tries to use its own scheme. It there any recipe to make ranger use terminal pallet?

You can use push approach. Like graphite. Grafana has excellent support of graphite queries. Also graphite has low-footprint implementation https://github.com/baverman/hisser

My first advise for beginners is not to start a new code with classes. It allows to see shared state patterns after they build some data model and extract it to real abstractions.

The instant place to look for graphviz issues is a distance between arrow head/tail to node. But yes your diagrams are very clean indeed!

My top graphviz issues. * Automatic edge placement can lead to visually ambiguous results and it is very hard to tweak it. * Edge title placement engine is sort of naive and best solution is to not use edge titles at all. * Bogus text wrapp

I've been trying to use graphviz for many years. Idea of storing graph data as text with presentation hints is very appealing. But simple diagrams can be made in corresponding software (draw.io) way too faster. For complex diagrams I h
