I've had lots of issues with outbound. Bulk sends failing completely. Individual seems to work but is very slow.

I had the exact same experience on my dev cluster. It's a bit of a scary black box if you don't have the time/experience necessary to debug it.

Hi drugesso - Thanks for getting back to me. I actually signed up to premium to get support for this issue. Got one email back, replied and then never heard back :( It would be really great if there is a human I could speak to at GitLab abo

Lots of magic for me, I've broken a (dev) k8s cluster by installing Istio via Gitlab k8s integration. The overhead appeared to be non-negligible, but I noped-out-of-there pretty quick, so I don't have the data to back that up.

YMMV but numbers of them! we offer good salary/benefits etc, but on the whole senior and mid-level devs seem to be contracting for our tech stack (React/Node) and that's a path I'm not particularly keen on going down. ed

I feel your pain. Trying to hire perm in London at the moment is a real challenge, even with a recruiter. Contractor rates are obscene (5-8x perm). Recruiting and retaining is what keeps me awake at night over and above any tech issues that

This looks fantastic! My project has a build process that transpiles the source directory using Babel to a build dir, and then runs from that. Is it possible to use a sourcemap to debug based on the pre-transpiled source? edit: i've bu

I've just signed a 3-year fixed term @ 1.49% (at which point i'll then have to find another...). I'm pretty amazed at how different it seems to be in the US.

I may be being dumb here, but what does bias refer to in the first point? Is it a social thing, or does it refer to being dogmatically biased towards certain frameworks/methodologies? Perhaps both.

I used to work a night shift in a cash depot that routinely stored over £200m. It was famously the subject of a heist, and the robbers only quit at £30m because they couldn't fit any more in. That was a lot of money.

I really enjoyed using http://searchkit.co/ a while back. If i were to do it again, I'd probably roll my own, as IIRC state management with searchkit was a bit of a black box, but it is a pretty nice drop-in lib .
