Not a good idea. I come to Facebook for one reason only - to see updates in my social circle. Nothing else. I don't (want to) come to Facebook to search for "consumer trends in the QSR industry". That's Google's job.

To me, it appears to be more than just Jobs vs Ballmer (though that would be a hands-down victory for Jobs, no doubt). The product was fascinating; it is well worthy of thunderous applause instead of the smattering of claps it received. The

For a presentation on product that looks as incredible as this, the transition of the presentation on to Ballmer was slightly awkward.

As an Etacs user, yes, I care very much as to whether they are shutting down or being acquired.

I agree. Yahoo is floundering because there is no focus. The company's tentacles are in every pot, the typical "Jack of all trades, master of none." They desperately need a Mark Hurd. Someone ruthless, someone aggressive, someone with the

You're talking about how IE9 itself could have been improved; cubicle67 was speaking about how the IE9 team's response could have been better. In this case, while IE9 is still a terrible product, the team's response is so stuffed with f

Don't get hooked on the term "fail." Continuously evolve your product (Seesmic comes to mind, among countless others) - and never give up.

It's very interesting that Ron Conway appears to have known about - and endorsed! - David Lee's attendance at these meetings. Did it really need to take 2 meetings (oh, and Arrington's input) to voice disapproval?

So you're the kind of guy who admits he doesn't know, and then doesn't do anything about it. That's fine. But there are people who readily admit they don't know, but will do research to find a solution. You're not in that category - that's
