The REIT, though it may not have the tax advantages you mention it is diversified. However, the tax angle is interesting. How easy is it to diversify with real estate syndication? Or so called real estate crowdfunding - which I assume are m

VGSIX holds many different kinds of REITs including retail, office, industrial - so imo not a good example. The Dow Jones US Residential REIT index is up 7.3% YTD and 12.20% over 1 year. https://www.marketwatch.com/investing

Curious if Triplebyte interviews for all of dev/ops/devops positions? Is there a higher/lower success rate in ops/devops vs pure development? For example vim is used extensively in ops/devops and emacs use there is

surprised you are being downvoted - i totally agree with you - this data should be taken with a huge grain of salt and imo should be ignored for deciding on interview candidates and certainly ignored for hiring decisions. While this data is

Thank you for sharing this - I just read the "Cat's Cradle" lyrics - a song I had heard all my life but never really stopped to think about. As a father of a 3 year old, I'm very happy to say I spend regular daily qualit

I would also recommend listening to an NPR podcast "The Fix" by RadioLab: http://www.radiolab.org/story/addiction/ While the description talks about taking a pill to solve your addiction problems (some v

Unfortunately, the drug war and punishing users of non-sanctioned drugs is embedded deep in America's political and social DNA - but seeing how much has changed in some areas of drug policy especially with variations from state to stat

The vast majority of google searches are certainly not all searching for things that would lead them to WSJ. If we take just the population of the US in 2017 (326.5M), and assume every American searches via Google for their news, we're

Not all sources are equal in terms of quality and information provided in the linked to article. IMO, in certain areas (financial industry, investigative journalism, international business issues, etc.) WSJ consistently has better coverage

We occasionally (3x per month?) use BA or gobble (lately more gobble) - there are others we plan on trying soon too. For us, it mostly provides a change of pace and tends to inspire our own cooking. We often add additional ingredients to wh

I'm still new to GCP - but I've found the tutorials helpful. The Manning book "Google Cloud Platform In Action" has been somewhat helpful in providing additional examples above what I've seen in the official docs -

I sincerely apologize if the tone in my post offends anyone - I let my frustration with this issue get the better of me while writing my comment. However, I do stand behind the main points of what I wrote: 1. It's disappointing and fru

What's sad is that this isn't the first time GitLab UX/UI peeps have tried to remove the sidebar. 9 months ago we went through a very similar version of this: https://gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab-ce/

Why did you remove the sidebar + pin again?? When you removed the sidebar last time - users of GitLab lobbied you hard to get that pin in there so they could keep that sidebar open at all times. These kind of changes make me feel like you&#
