Yes, and if you have a good amount to say please make a blog post (even default wordpress/blogspot/posterous layouts are fine) just so you don't have to squint at the grey text. edit: didn't notice kyro's comment which adds better points

It isn't really time off if you are working is it? It is time spent thinking and learning and depending on your life outside work this could be accomplished without taking time off and just working less.

I don't think the dollar will collapse, if it does however many people other than the US need to be very worried. If I'm wrong: I live in the mountains have plenty of trees an axe, a gun, and a stove.

I'm curious to what CAD programs you are using that are multi-windowing because the only one I can think of is ADAMS by MSC but that UI is a big pain in the ass.

I'm sorry but if you need a mac you should buy a mac. Else you really don't need a mac, especially for something like iphone development which requires an initial investment. (Note: I don't own a mac.)

On the note of college courses something they have here is called concurrent enrollment where you can take college courses for free and have them count for credit so long that you take a minimum of half the required high school classes and

I agree with him very strongly I could easily have gone without high school but finding groups of my peers would have been much much harder especially since I did not live near enough to people my age to have met friends outside of school.

My physics teacher used gnuplot, and he taught us how to use it then required it for plotting homework solutions it really doesn't look so bad and in many situations I think it looks so much better than excel generated graphs.

I think the red was much less distracting than the orange, although it may be that it is after the time that is causing that (rather than next to the arrows).

I think the majority of godaddy domain purchasers are first time buyers or small businesses that do not know of other domain companies (especially considering godaddy's large advertisement investment).
