Just keep it as optional extension and that will be perfectly fine. They should make it compatible with other browsers too. Considering llamafile project, maybe there will be an option for offline assistant, where user will be able to selec

How about just teaching kids to do animation on their own? Suggesting drawing pictures on pages of a book and flipping them probably won't fly at this day and age, but maybe there is some tool like good old Macromedia Flash, where kids

Add "display:block;" to canvas to fix the issue with vertical scroll appearing. Also, you might want to consider looking into vh and vw units to fill canvas to viewport without using javascript.

Isn't updating once a day a bit too rare for content heavy websites, like HN? I use online RSS reader just to keep up with all updates when I am not online. With updates once a day I'd probably be using desktop RSS reader app.

Demo or not, it must have decent error handling and inform user about critical errors, without diving into devtools.

Are there any local models that provide only very limited knowledge, e.g. autocomplete and chat for single programming language? Or is my thinking, that such limited model would be smaller and work faster even on CPU, is incorrect?

It would be even more interesting to display OpenStreetMap state, as it was on selected year. Of course, this should start only when OSM was launched, I'm not asking for someone to map all the world from old aerial photography.

I'm still waiting for "OpenLoco + OpenRTC", where I'll be able to build train line to amusement park, and then build said amusement park.

Does postmarketOS have something like Samsung Dex? It shouldn't be very resource intensive to run few TUI applications on external monitor.

Worst part about such small payments is that intermediary, that will process the payment, might get 50% or even more of said payment, leaving not much to receiver. If someone really wants support, they will either have a link to "merch

Building low poly models is easy. Hardest part is texturing. Even harder to draw textures that look great at low resolutions.

Any hints for a new developer where to start learning FLTK? I like older app aesthetics and interested to build a simple GUI app for personal use. And with Wayland support it looks like to be a more future proof library than say Tcl/Tk

This is silly, and very tedious, to "Verify you are human" after each translation. How likely is that after few translations I might become a robot?
