Why can't I just take a screenshot of the PDF and feed that into the llm?

"If you don't put on your slippers, your toes will fall off and then you won't be able to walk like everybody else!" Sometimes the old-world spook stories work.

I like to extend it to: "the portion makes the poison." Beyond getting the alliteration, it also includes food, which I think is important. A glass of water won't kill you, two gallons of water will. An ice cream cone once in

I don't know... start smaller maybe. Homeostasis swings both ways and the body will adapt. Fwiw, I think it's worthwhile to explore a little more before "calling it" completely

If residuals are too good, they just pull your show from distribution (see: Westworld via HBO).

Don't you know it's always the smallest unstyled "Download" button that is the real one? The big green one has always redirected to spyware bullshit

It kinda sucks seeing the PlayStation turn to trash after so many good memories with PS1/PS2. I guess nothing lasts forever.

Please do not do work from your personal laptop. If the company doesn't want to troubleshoot their own tool which is preventing you from working, you shouldn't continue adding value until you're enabled again.

PS4 is a great system, but I feel it may be my last Sony console. Steam Deck/Steam Machine will probably become the king of the household, as I don't see video games ever really leaving my life.

The slippery slope game editor is pretty cool. https://beyondloom.com/tools/slipedit.html You can click the link at the top to play the original game. It's a 5-10 minute adventure that I enjoyed, fwiw

The new Image Playground one captured my imagination. Good job. I can see how the old icon is confusing with Siri or Apple Intelligence or whatever it's called.

OK this one still trips me up. Why isn't 5/0 5? If I have 5 apples, and I divide that group by 0, I STILL HAVE 5 APPLES. If I have 5 apples, and I divide that group by 2, I have 2 groups of 2.5 apples.

I don't think you'll struggle to get tons of calories out of whole foods, but you'll be satiated faster eating whole foods, which will in all practicality, mean you ate less.

I think my comment is being misunderstood. I don't think AI music has any value. I'm just calling out that Tidal's right and left hands are saying two different things. The left hand: AI music has no monetary value. The right

I feel like audio-level heuristics will be easier, but ultimately who's to say? > Generative models synthesize sound mathematically. These synthesis methods leave unnatural dips, specific spectral noise profiles, or phase alignments

> Both groups reported lower perceived stress, depression and impulsivity scores after coffee was reintroduced This is a terrible sentence. As I understand it, you can't "reintroduce" coffee to non-coffee drinkers.

2 weeks isn't long enough to reduce ∆FosB expression after drug (caffeine) use. Most likely I'd say you're right; the subjects are in withdrawal and getting a dose is relaxing.
