Well, kind of. In F1 there's 2 championships: the driver's championship, and the constructor's championship. The constructor's championship is for the best engineered auto. Both the driver and the engineers win separate

It's a machine that's tricked you into thinking it's something greater. It's a calculator 2.0 with a smiley face sticker slapped on it, nothing more.

IIRC, the PSP was the first XMB-style OS Sony had, predating the PS3. I remember even the loading/downloading screens looking so futuristic on the PSP.

I worked at GameStop in 2006 and had hacked my PSP and loaded it with Final Fantasy 7. One customer was absolutely floored I was playing FF7 on a handheld. Like, breath taken; floored. We had a good laugh, a little discussion, and it remain

Here's me hoping this is a hint that hot peppers kill a lot of things: resistant bacteria, cancers, inflamed cells, etc. since I love them so.

Addictiveness is measured by ∆FosB gene expression. The 'addictiveness' of a substance or activity is qualified by how much ∆FosB is expressed. It's decidedly not just a completely subjective thing. Books, movies, comics, etc

FWIW, social media use is mediated by ∆FosB expression, so the less you use social media, the less you want to use social media. Timeline of ~3 months.

Toast notifications were the big mistake. Also badges. In my perfect world, the only thing to retain the ability to keep messages alerting the user that someone tried to contact them would be voicemail, subject to the same spam laws as ever

Do it like a library. When a person walks into a library, they're presented with a short curated list of books suggested from the librarian. All visitors to the library see the same books. From there, the visitor can go about their bus

Honest question: What does it matter if others judge you, in this time? Back in the day I understand; you'd be ostracized from the group or killed, but in this day and age people just give you a side eye or murmur at best. It really do
