All database designs have foreign keys whether they are enforced in the database or not. If they are not obvious from the documentation, that is a documentation problem.

The name of dd(1) may have some tenuous connection to the JCL DD statement, but otherwise any similarity seems virtually non-existent. They don't even remotely do the same thing, none of the options or parameters are the same or have

Fertilizer prices are rising in part because ammonia production is a rather energy intensive process and the price of natural gas used to produce ammonia is way up due to war time shortages. Ammonia, of course, is the primary source materi

If a state did it, it would be a straightforward violation of the Contracts Clause. With regard to Treasury bonds and gold certificates it was the government rewriting its own contracts. It was a violation of the contract on every Federal

If the corruption is deeper that just means more officials deserve to be imprisoned for decades. The only reason not to shoot malicious prosecutors at dawn is we can't be entirely sure we have the right ones. Official malice is a thre

In 1933 Congress unilaterally devalued the dollar by nearly seventy percent, rewrote the gold clauses in private contracts, largely forbid the private possession of gold, and managed to get away with it. The Supreme Court conveniently deci

If there are government agents out there that do that sort of thing as a matter of course, they should be prosecuted without mercy and imprisoned for decades as the criminals they are, if not lined up and shot at dawn.

Non-profits generally use substantial income in excess of revenues for expansion, just like many for-profit organizations. Excess revenues can also be absorbed in salary and other compensation or cost increases, usually top down of course.
