Really appreciate the write up here! Maybe rough around the edges is an understatement haha, we are actively working to make the docs here better. So a few things, these are very primitive components that can easily be updated and restyled.

They are framework-agnostic, meaning you're not locked into Vue, React, Angular, or any specific framework. They work natively in the browser, which makes them reusable everywhere, now and in the future.

I can't the repo I think they may have since made it private, however they were released with an Apache 2.0 license so anybody can access/upload them. They seem to be available here now: https://hexdocs.pm/google_a

This is fascinating really interesting to see how these are built first hand. My father-in-law is one of the only companies still building speed lathes and it's basically the same lathe they have built since 1937. I'm pretty sure

Going to got against the naysaying here. I understand that it might not follow best practices, but I can see a lot of benefit to this. Imagine I want to test something fully offline, but my app was built using OpenAI's API's ideal

I feel like viewport height (vh) kind of solved this. Designing for a specific height is janky but now you can just programmatically do it.
