From getting into the airplane (cold and dark) up to "ready for departure" in 30 minutes is quite doable (with coffee) Source: me, for commercial airline (b737-800)

I think you're almost completely right on this one. Fingerprinting is allowed as long as it is a functional requirement of the website. What IS - to my best knowledge - unknown (or at least a gray area) is whether you can use a fingerp

doesn't disqus start replacing a specific div on a page ready event? If so, disqus loading is 'postponed' to after page loading? Or is it taken into account?

Don't get me wrong: I love working with Rails (it's my Bread and butter basically). But sometimes I fall back to rants like these myself. Though mostly focussed in the whole "there's a gem for that" and "let&#x

Actually, cancer research can benefit (admittedly by a long shot, but still) by these kind of improvements in image processing. Don't forget that medical imaging and - thereby indirectly - the recognition/detection of cancer is on

Another Dutchie here. I'd go for the degree if you have no real immediate need to start making some money. I did my CS degree at the UvA (graduated in '07) and enjoyed every moment of it. Worked quite a bit on the side too (so you can actua

Under the right conditions you can expect to see some puffs of condensation due to the adiabatic cooling of the air on the edges of the shockwave. But then only under the exact right circumstances (moist air, sun from behing the viewpoint,

If I would see a programming related ad on facebook, I would not take it serious. There are more appropriate places to reach out to programmers. Facebook is for my bingedrinking related activities ;-)

Maybe not a national blockage; but Ziggo and XS4All have a large marketshare. If this order is extended to UPC (another provider) you could almost call it a nationwide blockage.

Considering that 30 kilometers is almost 100,000 feet you have a lot air you do NOT have to cross. This takes less (solid) fuel and is thus cheaper.
