> chances of him getting hacked are basically zero How do you know that? Your machine is probably still susceptible to POODLE. He is on non-admin account doesn't mean the OS doesn't contain bugs that allow privilege escalation.

You should move to a supported OS to reduce chance of getting hacked.

So you have no recordings, and you claim Google doesn't allow you to delete recordings... I guess you're technically right, Google doesn't let you delete things that don't exist.

They're basically developing an after market adaptive cruise control + lane centering system. Not revolutionary, but can be very useful nevertheless.

Unfortunately, majority of Android devices will never get patched because Google doesn't exert control over the OS. Imagine if security patch for a normal PC needs to be written by Microsoft, approved by Dell / HP (OEMs) and Bestb

Because this is higher level in terms of functionality than OS. Android API lets you access hardware, e.g., get a photo from camera, establish a network connection. Processing data from hardware is higher level.

Yes, but you should not count on performance of Google stock as a proxy of Uber.

I have no idea about the standard, but I don't think you'll need 1500 hours that's required for ATP. No reason. Just very few PPLs would have access to a B747.

John Fry is the only pilot I know that has a private pilot's license and a 747 type certificate. Most 747 pilots would have ATP.

> they give you a dollar, you'll give them $1.50 Not sure if you know it, but that is clearly not Twitter's business model. Twitter's costs are mostly fixed, so if it can generate $3B in revenue, it will be profitable.

From my experience, people will shop on the company's website, but will complain how they blatantly ignore local laws on news sites and forums, a la Uber, Airbnb, Tesla.

That's bullshit and you know it. Google is a large company with many businesses. How is Google Cloud Platform related to advertising? Nest? Liftware? Google Docs? Fact is advertising is cyclical, and Google is aggressively diversifying

Or just that Silicon Valley is a place that celebrates execution over ideas. After all, it is not that difficult to imagine an electric plane with 4 seats that flies itself, but it's damn hard to make one. Apple didn't invent anyt

Your lawyer needs to get a degree certification company to say that your degree is equivalent to a 4-year US degree. My undergrad was also 3 years, and my visa went through without problems. Never done a master's degree.

Not true. You just need a foreign equivalent of a US 4-year bachelor's degree. Unless things have changed since I got my H1B in 2012, but I doubt it.
