What do most banks consider "a long time" to be? I have a number of cards that I rotate usage on. I may go as long as 3 months before charging something on it.

The way I do it is: map caps lock to Ctrl in System Preferences, then download this tool[1]. The setting you are looking for is 'Control_L to Control_L'. When you hold Control it acts as a modifier but if you tap it, it acts as escape. [1]

That one has the Github Octocat icon I like, but hasn't updated to the new Twitter icon yet. Also doesn't support creating custom packages of just the icons you want.

You should look into SVG for doing detailed graphics. There are a number of libraries for making it easier to work with, Raphael came to mind because I remembered this demo: http://raphaeljs.com/australia.html

I like the distinction. I am used to "Star"-ing something in other web apps and I can quickly tell whether or not I am watching or bookmarked a repository when they are two separate things.
