I got a backup 2800 mAh micro usb charger for under $12 on Monoprice. Has worked just fine for all the times when it looked like I'd want a bit more charge. Pretty cheap compromise to me.

I never understood the memory usage argument. In my experience, Chrome was always more of a memory drain than Firefox.

4chan browsers (chandroid, yon, etc) all include links to NSFW boards in their main list, and those are all available on Google Play. I think they're just being very selective about applying their policy, probably not on purpose either.

I'd be very willing to delve into the OS more if there was more readily available help to transition people from the Windows interface we know to the new Metro style. Right now it's mainly an OS only for people who already know how to use

Sharing files will never be easy due to the copyright implications/fears, regardless of how many legitimate applications there are.

My first thought was "that seems a lot better than other industries". Wasn't expecting such a negative page. Not that I'm against equal pay, but I was thinking it would go in a totally different direction.

So UPS didn't create those UPS jobs just because sometimes, some of the boxes they deliver have Apple products in them?

There's an 's' missing in that title that changes the entire perspective of the article. Damn link-baiting. Oh and by the by, lol @ 50 year projections. What will the translation of a 2012 dollar be in 2062?

To me it's mainly a tablet dilemma. Phones are pocket-sized and pack the same features, laptops are bigger and are far more functional and productive. "Just carry a keyboard around with you in case!" Well then why have a tablet at all? I

Not saying that's how it happened, but improper website takedowns by the US government are not exactly new.

I've been mulling over popping out keys on a cheap USB keyboard to practice Dvorak but it's just not high up on my list of things to do.

Except that's a terribly inaccurate analogy. This isn't a $5 gift, it's a transaction for a product. He's not throwing away the rest, he's paying bills and donating to charities. How you came up with "throwing $80 in the bin" is beyond me

I can't speak to "apps" as the current mobile definition (no smartphone), but I definitely have uninstalled programs with poor interfaces. Probably the best example for me is mp3 players. I've been using WinAmp for over a decade now, and l

The word 'why' should be removed from the title. Usage statistics are fine, and TPM admits to not being a representative demographic of the Internet at large, but the blog entry doesn't attempt to answer the question of 'why' at all.

I hope they don't force Metro to be used on non-tablets. The screens I've seen so far show a confusing jumble of colors and different sized and entirely unrelated boxes squished together. I've been using windows for a long time now, maybe
