Yep nix is awesome at this kind of thing. Check out this project which packages a couple of AI projects with nix, both work out of the box for me. https://nixified.ai/

I’m kind of amazed that Nintendo continues to put as much effort into their first party games as they do. They could probably get away with phoning it in and releasing a crappy mainline Zelda/Mario game annually, because as you say the

Asimov’s laws of robotics were meant to be inherently flawed - these flaws were the main plot device of most of his stories. He knew better than anyone that it’s impossible to write a deterministic program for morality.

Flavor isn’t part of the Wikipedia style guide though. The language used across articles is intentionally conservative and boring.

Yes because like I said the fallout from the original post caused a lot of the power moderators to give up their spots. The biggest one "Cyxie" straight up deleted their account.

Given that reddit surprisingly still has a working API, this isn't actually a hard thing to check. Here's a script that works courtesy of ChatGPT: https://gist.github.com/bspammer/6b5eff6670e4b839ffea89ceaed..

I find it hard to believe that there’s some agenda against friends out there. What I find much easier to believe is the auto industry lobbying against public transport and for urban sprawl.

The automated content recognition thing is surprising, at least to me. That’s so invasive I’d assume it was illegal, but I guess I’m too optimistic about privacy laws.

Was this comment generated via ChatGPT? Not trying to catch you out, just curious if I'm able to successfully spot it in the wild.

I think it might be effective to have a toggle for before/after the war, if there is street view data from before the war.

I think the reason that what3words has taken off while (almost objectively) better systems are mostly unused is that it’s just more fun, which makes it innately viral. Looking up your house and finding it’s called crazy.wooden.marmot is som

Wouldn’t this require creating a database role for every user? Then your backend needs to be able to assume every user role, which still seems to allow for bugs.

The other way they could have monetised it is to limit the amount of time you can spend on it per day. I prefer this system.

In my experience this is mostly solved using the “lombok” library for older versions of Java, and by using the records feature in newer versions of Java. Both of these allow you to create data classes with immutable fields.

Probably stating the obvious here, but do not use this at work. At least if you work for the 99% of companies that would be unhappy to find out you've been uploading all their code to third-party servers.

The thing was visible to the naked eye, and so was its demise. I don’t see any reason to believe there was some agenda at play on the US side. They couldn’t have covered it up if they wanted to.

The project is run by the runescape wiki [1]. I got the above link from a reddit comment [2], the author of which is a poweruser on the wiki [3] There's nothing nefarious going on here, I promise you. It's just a community project

Piracy? No one wants to play random early versions of Runescape. It's purely about preservation. An example use case here, an interactive world map with a slider that lets you see how it was updated through the years: https:/
