I think before you can understand binary operators, you’ll need to understand binary itself and how to convert it to and from decimal. This crash course computer science video may help: https://youtu.be/1GSjbWt0c9M In fact

Oh yeah SponsorBlock is great! It reminds me of Wikipedia - it is surprisingly reliable given that it's crowdsourced. It does rely on the sponsor being at the same location in the video every time though, so it's not a solution to

I think this is most likely sadly. There has been no working adblocker for twitch.tv for over a year now. As far as I know, they are splicing the ad directly into the main video stream while it’s playing, so there’s no way to differentiate

The impersonators were so bad that I assumed they were intentionally added as a control. Anyone who called those real should likely be discarded from the final results.

My company locks versions, but dependabot is configured on all of our repos. It automatically creates PRs to bump versions, and if CI passes for minor/patch bumps they get automatically merged. This takes a lot of the hassle out of the

This isn’t entirely a pedantic thing. Cloudflare had an outage a couple of years ago which was caused by someone not knowing the difference: https://blog.cloudflare.com/details-of-the-cloudflare-outage...

I would probably have a similar reaction if my home country was attacked. Nuance basically goes out the window when everything you love is under threat.

I'm willing to bet that the devs who made this app have never worked with a decompiler and have no idea what "symbols" are. Source: I am one of those people (well I have a vague idea, but certainly wouldn't think to chec

I'm not sure how effective an AI would really be on this. Distinguishing from a pattern on top of the dice vs a pattern on the side/front seems like it would actually produce a lot of false positives.

I don’t know what you mean by “considered a mass” unless you mean “centre of mass”, which is a point. If there are times where there are a lot of correct arrow designations, how is that not more confusing? In my opinion, using a different m

For the arrow hint to work at all, countries need to be a single point. I intuitively assumed the hull centre without really thinking about it.

There's something so gratifying about seeing your mental models of entropy and probability explained so visually. I wish all maths was taught with interactive diagrams, but it's not fair to expect everyone to be able to make 3b1b-

This information isn't being used to try and start a war, but to try and stop a war. There's a big difference to begin with. A second difference is that that was 20 years, and 3 administrations ago.

Surely any evidence enough to satisfy the reporter would be enough to locate the source of the leak? What would you do if you were the US government? They're trying to stop a war.
