Oh right, NVMe. I have yet to experience it. Yeah, I suppose if the software is optimized for it, it is a much better experience. SD cards also have the drawback of having pretty limited write cycles compared to any SSD.

I'd like to believe they named it that simply so kids could pull a "My Deck is bigger than yours!".

Used to play them fine on hard drives. Micro SD cards became as fast as them quite a while ago.

You're saying 100+ MB/s won't be enough anymore? Why would that be the case?

Still not sure why that didn't become predominant. Dynamic content based ads seemed to be the new fad in late 00's, then it kinda disappeared, with user tracking becoming the norm.

So, anyway, it looks like we're not doing enough about emissions. When will politicians start taking the space sunshade idea seriously?

Peasants need not talk about that. (Yeah, what a joke that is)

Is this hard to implement for MasterCard? Otherwise, it seems reasonable to me, but I'm not that knowledgeable in this area.

Sounds pretty amazing. I wonder if it can be used to enhance parts of the brain (imagine a larger or more dense PFC, which so many dearly need) and muscle (always in top shape). That would be fantastic, along with super regeneration.

Track/engine building and maintenance is probably more expensive than airports and planes.

I was gonna say that... but I guess having that in the charter is better than nothing. It is rather laughable looking at the lives of many citizens even in richer countries, though.

Only 5W? What makes Apple's 5W better (no, it's not 15W when portable)? But yeah, OK, you can attach it with magnets to the back, that's worth double the cost. Oh wait, make that triple, since you need the case. I better stop

Sadly, no, 18650's cost the same for half the capacity. Likely because they're in high demand right now and car manufacturers have hogged up the best of them. Hence, LiFePO4, heavier, lower voltage, less capacity, but also safer t

Yeah, tbh, the hardest thing for building a custom E-Bike battery pack is the ridiculous prices and downright unavailability of cells! Best I can get are 32700 LiFePO4 6000mAh cells for 5 Euros each... A prebuilt Li-Ion Chinese pack with an

With fast charge being common these days, why not just carry a portable battery (or two or three, for less than $99)?

Yeah, it doesn't get worse than rock bottom. 5000mAh compact is around $20, 10,000mAh $40 for good devices.
