Curious : do you have a team of people working with you, or is it mostly solo work ? your work is so valuable, i would be scared for our industry if it had a bus factor of 1.

That's an interesting hypothesis : that LLM are fundamentally unable to produce original code. Do you have papers to back this up ? That was also my reaction when i saw some really crazy accurate comments on some vibe coded piece of co

Recently had a conversation with a coworker, which thought temporal was too complex for a first implementation. However after looking at the documentation it seems that the tech is very approachable. What makes using temporal complex ?

Is there a trend of new web framework that try to go back to actually using classes / objects instead of functions to build UI components ?

thanks for that comment. I know absolutely nothing about chip designs, but i too was under the assumption that chips, like anything, wear out. And the more you use them, the more they do. Is the wear so small that it’s simply negligible ?

Nobody in israel's army is aiming at children except maybe for some people turning crazy because of the war, which happens in every war. Pretending otherwise is just blatant propaganda.

you were downvoted because people don't have any argument against your point : jews couldn't stop the holocaust by just surrendering, like hamas does. The two situations have absolutely nothing in common.

interesting talk. I thought mojo actually had innovations at the IR level as well, but it seems to rely on what chris built at google with MLIR. Chris mentioned pushing updates to MLIR while working at Mojo, i'd be curious to have a su

after 15 years refactoring poorly designed iOS apps i can guarantee you 100% of the problems come from an insufficiently designed model layer. Apple is to blame, as they give absolutely O clue on that part (only demo apps with structures th

lots of negativity here. I found that POV very interesting. I'll rephrase like this: programmers tend to focus on micro-issues, but with large codebase the main problems are finding the correct abstractions and designs to manage the co

They probably played a dangerous game in the past with hamas, indeed. Much like the US with the iranian mollah, or with the taliban in afghanistan. Yet, now that they've decided to stop this game and finally deal with hamas once and fo

You don't seem to know a lot about the history of jews and israelis... They have nowhere else to go. Jews have spent 2000 years running away from people who wanted to kill them, and now they've decided to stop.

Israel has no perfectly moral solution to hamas in gaza. they chose to err on the side of making sure october 7 never happens again. I don’t blame them for that.
