And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile... And you may find yourself paying for 5TB of cloud storage with feature bloat... And you may ask yourself, "Well... how did I get here?"

IOT is going to utterly trash the auto industry (which admittedly is already in poor shape) and make an even larger mess of the environment by turning cars into pre-mature waste - because you mentioned, it's not been thoughtfully imple

Apple has billions of data points about batteries with iPhones, Macbooks, iPads, etc..... Obvious those are not used in the same manner car batteries are, but still. I'd say there's a slim possibility. But clearly it's a toug

I'm consistently amazed at how rapidly technology has progressed in 20 short years. Look how long it took us to get from the Vitruvian Man in ~1,500 to barely performing surgery in the early 1900's. This is pretty incredible.

I'd enjoy some numbers on the environmental damage of laptop versus desktop consumption. My desktop is 6 years old with an i7 CPU (high-end) and 750Ti GPU (entry level). My monitor is a 24" 1080 Samsung bought new in 2009 for ~$12

The dark reality is NOT that people can't compete against monolithic companies. It is that companies have tens of billions of dollars they can spend to acquire companies that are hundred-million-plus net-losers. That lump sum of acquis

Great outcome for both sides. Josh gets the exit he really seems to need for his personal and financial well-being. Xenon gets one heck of a product for honestly quite cheap. Better marketing will actually go a long way here.

This is whole thing about whether drivers should be full-time employees is so overthought. If Uber and Lyft are set on not paying the drivers full time, just cap the hours a driver can have at 20 per week. That will fix mostly everything. -
