Yep. Russia (now: Ukraine, Belorussia, and small western part of Russian Federation) got it name from vikings, which are from "Russia" town (now: "Old Russa", but town moved up by river, so original town is at other plac

4x increase of viral pneumonia cases over previous year is worth to investigate. It looks like it caused by H1N1 (Swine Flu), which is much less worse than Corona-virus, but still worse than regular flu.

In my city (Lviv, Ukraine), number of viral pneumonia cases is jumped by 4x since Jan 26, but we have no test kits to confirm kind of virus they caused by. They can be caused by regular influenza, as usual, or they can be caused by corona.

Seriously, this particular mutation of unknown bat virus + HIV is predicted in film. I recommend to watch it: it's very scientific, and has almost no action.

Standups are for small teams, e.g. less than 10 members. IMHO, your 30-35 employees meeting with members of different projects is "all hands meeting", not a standup.

It's called "status meeting". Usually, manager is not present at standup meeting at all, unless team asked him to participate.

(My guess) IMHO, letters are originated from pictographs, as way to script pronunciation of an unknown word (e.g. name of a foreigner) by first sound of word represented by a pictograph. Later, they are adopted to represent foreign speech a

Causality is not a problem for physic. For example, electron can move faster than speed of light in a medium without violating of anything. The problem with FTL engine is that Cherenkov radiation alone will convert any FTL object into ball

You are not alone - nobody can. I'm struggling to find just anybody to talk about these problems. How photons are formed? IMHO, FTL speed is required to form a photon. How photons are consumed? Can we make a macro model for this? Can w

So what need to be changed in properties of Nature to switch EM with Right Hand Rule into EM with Left Hand Rule? Can you explain this using a formula? Where we can expect to see EM with LHR? Can we see it in our Laniakea? Or at opposite si
