The Yamaha TX81Z was famous for this coming off the transformer. There was a revision that added a shield and a service upgrade part forty years ago. A few years ago, I fixed one with part of a bean can.

Some lessons I learned the hard way: 0. Getting paid is your job. Getting paid is more important than doing the work. 1. Pick better clients. Good clients don't have a problem with paying (and great clients are good clients who have re

Your rationals don’t mention users and if you are short on space, that’s poor design — just as a 12” (300mm) bedroom door would be poor design in a dwelling.

We don't steer automobiles with reins because new technologies work better with interfaces that match their technological properties. We've learned a lot about human computer interaction since the 1970's.

Using a knob when using a knob doesn't solve the problem is poor design...then again, skeuomorphism is usually bad design. Here a counter that increases and decreases with mouse movement would take less space and be more intuitive. And

Up and down virtual knobs are entirely unintuitive to me. I understand the rationalization, but a knob is not a slider and what's the point of non-skeuomorphic skeuomorphism?

Maybe Vercel is pivoting away from your use case to focus on larger organizations. Maybe Vercel lost the data. Maybe Vercel saw a regulatory issue. My advice is to keep building on a different platform. Good luck.
