If you can find a way to stop Emacs from being painfully single threaded, yeah.

The point is that nowadays people will see anything with emdashes and assume it is slop even if it's hand written

I feel for those who genuinely liked using emdashes in their writing

I'd love a flag for "Show HN"s that indicate the author actually wrote it themselves so I can go back to being impressed by them

The doomers aren't the one investing billions, so I think they're a slightly lower cause for concern than the ones significantly reshaping the economy.

You're right, but American models aren't super different in that regard. Ask an American model about Israel and you can immediately tell they're responding in a different manner to other queries. At least with open-weights mo

I don't think people are saying China isn't bad, they're saying it's incredibly hypocritical because the US is also bad

It's good because it's an actual standard instead of 7/27 which is backwards for half the world. Besides, I'm actually from the future and they delayed the model a year, learning from Anthropic that good models are actua

Yes, you're paying the cache read, not the cache write, which is much more expensive. You can do the math for how many 5min refreshes you can be afk for until it starts costing instead of saving

You can send and receive 1 byte and refresh the cache. Keeping the cache alive isn't free, but it's close.

There isn't, I think the point is in terms of how "far ahead" models are, K3 was likely trained much more recently than Mythos was. It's just something to note, it's not especially prescriptive. Mythos was withheld

I can't help but glaze over any AI written documentation. If it wasn't worth the time to write then it's surely not going to be worth the time to read

I hate that 5 years ago I'd see a headline like this and think it was awesome, and now it's just "look at what someone's spent tokens on today"
