If you are a parent, you know that feeling when your child is struggling with something and gets frustrated, but you keep silent and don't help because you know that the child has to figure this out by themselves. That's the same

Take Balatro for instance, made in Lua using Löve2D. If you bought it on Steam and installed it, you can more or less just unzip it to see the source. https://gamefromscratch.com/balatro-made-with-love-love2d-th...

I think I see where he is coming from. Using math to prove that you can’t tune stuff, will to some, sound like using a laser leveling tool to prove that you can’t make a perfect pizza.

If it’s done in Lua, it is usually trivial to open the source code from the game on Steam.

I disagree. In the constant battle between good and evil, doing nothing is not a sustainable strategy.

The logic is sound. That you are doing nothing, is exactly the problem. Not even recognising that there is anything you can do, is more telling about you than of people like Besoz.

The word 'made' is a peculiar one. If we are talking about creating value, then the definition of value is also kind of tricky. Does it add anything to the world or does it just move stuff around in a zero sum game. In any case, i

I've seen multiple people declaring the death of Skype, all ignoring the fact that it is not really dead. It has just gotten a new name, a new skin, some new functionality and been embedded as part of an office suite. It is not dead, i

Honestly, I find it peculiar that the military are using regular consumer grade AI. One would think that these guys had access to much more powerful stuff.

Does anyone knows if using microwaves might possibly affect the nutritional value of the food? Or if radiation can leak and act upon your body if you stand very close to it. Heated plastic doesn’t sound too healthy either. And why do we nev
