funny, I just replied to another comment almost word-for-word in exactly the same terms, before seeing yours. I agree completely.

Why are there even "sides"? it's very obvious that this new tooling can be very useful for the modern Web. it's also apparent that a certain intersection of skill set and project requirements can do better with more clas

could you please elaborate? the only missing feature I can think of when using a socket, is the color change. I would think that is not the primary reason to purchase smart light bulbs, besides maybe one or two for the novelty? the key bene

you might want to check out Enpass. Multiple vaults and mobile clients are a premium feature, but the desktop app is free and fully local with self-hosted sync options. I'm not affiliated, but have been a happy user for a couple of yea

It may be that to a degree, but there is also a desire to point out reliability deficiencies in a product or platform that inevitably gets pushed down everyone's throats by management with low resistance to kool-aid.

another Enpass user here. it works very well for me on Mac and Android.

perhaps Hashicorp Vault fits your requirement? it is not a trivial piece of software to host, but it has the multi-key feature that you need. otherwise, it's mostly a key-value store.

has anyone here used Enpass? I use it and like it very much, because the UX is decent, and there is no "cloud" component whatsoever - it simply has a local DB which can be synced using Google Drive or Dropbox across all my devices

in addition to the sibling reply, > Unless you own a 10,000 acre ranch.... this is precisely the point. EVEN if you own a 10,000 acre ranch in the middle of nowhere, the regulations technically prohibit you to fly a small hobbyist aircra

wow, 'double-tap => Esc' is genius. I have a habit of smashing Esc a few times anyway ("for good measure"? I don't know). I will be sure to try this once my UHK gets here. Thanks!

i agree, but "guarantee" is a strong word. on the flip side, a hell of a lot more folks _without_ much security expertise have _contributed_ to the fb codebase.

I wonder if one can use a USB OTG adapter to make it work on a phone? I will certainly try once I get mine. Thanks for the idea!

It's not (just?) the typing speed though - for many it's the ability to limit hand and arm movement, and alleviate the effects of many types of RSI. I just ordered one, and as I type this through noticeable pain in my right wrist,

Right! I actually meant centiliters - it's been a few years. But a commenter below mentions deciliters are a thing as well. What a crazy world :)

don't some parts of Europe also use decilitres for beverage packaging? I've seen bottles that are like "75dl", and it took me a few minutes to clue in.
