That's what I liked about Transport Fever: grading track correctly is important, hard, and expensive!

Also, sharp gradients inherently incentivize attempts to equalise. It is an unstable situation.

Almost like we need API's for interpersonal communication, which, as long as we all adhere to them, remove many of the difficulties.

I wish they'd have something more sensible for people that need a few inboxen at a domain. Having to pay full price for every new family member added to a family domain for instance is a bit too expensive for my tastes.

Only a few years ago did I learn through an economic historian, that throughout Dutch colonial rule, the entirety of that activity has been a loss, not a gain, to the Dutch state and thus the Dutch citizen (it is evident it was a loss for t

Value can be overvalued. Value is what humans invent for themselves (but mostly others). GDP is precisely one such imagined quantities that could easily be 10x more or less depending on who's doing the valueing.

The problem is that people understand things differently. What is a valuable lesson for you, can be an inspiration for others. This is actually quite well researched so you can't just keep such violent materials accessible to all and n

Its easier, but it isn't more energy efficient, at least not for winters. Average deltaT is smaller when cooling 35 to 25, compared to heating -10 to 20, say. A problem in cities is that aircos increase outdoor temps, on top of heat fr
