People more understand that SSL prevents clear text transfer of data. People have been trained to understand that passwords and credit card data should use HTTPS. As long as you accomplish this, then any extra value is not seen by users.

Nothing illegal about making your own gun. You cannot pay someone else to do the work for you, it has to be done by you. You can never sell the gun since only licensed guns are allowed to be sold.

Regarding #3. The advise I get from my family (5 people in the medical field) is that hospitals will kill you. You go to the hospital to fix your problem and get out as fast as you can. You will heal faster at home and you will sleep better
