Do you remember the name of the show, or could you find it?

Indeed. Like they say, fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. However how do you go about picking a new provider? How do you know that anyone else is any better?

VRML described the vertices and edges of 3D objects, but surely it had nowhere near the power of OpenGL or WebGL. With vertex shaders and fragment shaders there is almost no limit to what can be done with OpenGL in terms of imagery you can

No it doesn’t. Makefiles define inputs, outputs and the commands that transform input to output. Make then compares the last modified timestamp of inputs with outputs on each run and reruns the commands for the targets that are out of date.

Better non-JS link: http://archive.is/MvKHy . This link is of a snapshot of the DOM of rendered page. The one you linked has a not-so-comfortable layout due to being made for old phones with small screens.

It’s an acceptable kind of HN comment. A link in the article is generally easy to miss and probably others missed it too. Admittedly the article did talk enough about the other thing that it’d be pretty hard to miss if you read the whole th

There is a notification about cookies that has no link to dismiss it, which obscures the content on iOS.

The link in the comment I referenced above leads me to the full article while still showing a pop up about subscribing to get access to full articles. Did you check that the article really was cut short?

Doesn’t work on iOS. Almost surprising given how many 3D things work on mobile when I try them. Oh well.

Don’t know of any way short of making your own HN client, or you could make a userscript to remove entries from view based on domain. Maybe someone else has made either of those already. Aside from that there was also a domain someone set u

I agree with you about discover weekly not being very good. On the other hand what I do like is the playlist radio that comes on after you finish listening to a playlist. I find that a great way to find new music and new artists.
