Wow nice work. When I travel outside I usually use wikipedia to get a list of places where I should go. But a direct recommendation from friends is a lot better since wikipedia lists only places/things that are relatively popular. I th

It could be true but how come snap chat is worth so much and not what's app. Is it because they have actual revenue model while snapchat's value is speculative? I don't really understand how valuations work. I read somewhere

Big fan of Bill. As a kid I used to read comic strips of calvin and hobbes in our daily newspaper. That comic section was the only reason I bought the newspaper. When they stopped publishing the stips I stopped buying the paper :) Most of u

Fascinating. An average 60 year old man sleeps for 20 years (considering a normal 8 hr a day sleep) that is 1/3 of his life. A polar bear and some other hibernating animals sleep for half of their lives. Amazingly polar bear is cogniza

That was my first reaction too. I would love to read about his adventures. 23 years is a very long time travelling. I am not sure of my facts but Alexander the great traveled (or was on an expedition) for about 15 years. He has far surpass

Nice work. I don't know much about hardware programming but if I manage to recreate it I am going to use it on Christmas :) How much did it cost you?

Well I am looking for the exact opposite. Focusing my "programming energy" for my own stuff while having a source of income from some other job. I have found nothing yet though.

First of all great job guys. The website looks really good even better than HN. One thing I dislike is the scroll bar in the middle. It makes navigation a bit cumbersome in my opinion. I see you are using redis! It would be great if you cou

Nice work guys. I especially like the integrated pricing system. Adding a means of payment is a tricky aspect of a product. If that is taken care of well it saves a lot of time.

No problem man. I will look to add syntax highlighting by default in specter. Anyway I updated the pages to have the feeds into them by default so it does not cause any confusion.

It is already built into specter. Use the urls /feed/rss and /feed/atom So all you got to do is add an anchor tag that points to these urls. Settings can be set in the preferences file. Regarding syntax highlighting... C
