I found this exercise interesting, and as arcade79 pointed out it is the cost of replication not the cost to Google. Humorously I wonder the cost of of replicating Higgs-Boson verification or Gravity Wave detection would be.

While air is a passive requirement, I would suggest that writing, the printing press, speakers, radio, television, and the web are all more similar. They are intentionally used to increase engagement of content intentionally created.
