So how many of these cops faced a punishment beyond an unplanned paid vacation?

When you say New Yorkers, do you mean New York City or elsewhere in the state? All of those activities would be pretty common in New York once you get a couple hours away from the City.

Pay per click is also user hostile. We’ve all accidentally clicked on the wrong thing or, especially with touchscreen devices, clicked when we didn’t mean to. I really don’t need my misclicks costing me a bunch of extra money.

I've been reasonably happy with my fiber provider (Ziply). My town is building out a municipal fiber network that is considerably cheaper however. They just finished a phase that stopped 50 yards south of my home. They'll be back

True but while the box is the same size as when it was 20oz, at least if they say 12oz there's 12oz in there.

In my case, they lived in my neighbor’s unkempt yard and a few secluded spots from when the previous neighbor raised chickens. This summer, they moved out and the house was vacant for a month. First time in 20 years we found mice in our hou

The year I ran the NYC Marathon, I finished in the top 2 percent of men. The winner beat me by 45 minutes. While I wouldn't go so far as to say 95% sucks, there can be a world of difference between that level and the true elites.

One could blow through $50 million in a month and probably not even draw much attention. Wasting $50 billion is going to take a lot of dedication and hard work to achieve, especially if any of those assets are generating income.

If you are "only" a millionaire in a HCOL area, you might still have to worry about crimes against your children. However, they will be random crimes that occur within the city you live rather than targeted crimes. I have a friend

It is quite obviously $50 cheaper. The people who picked their seats paid that $50. Again, you have an option here. If you must sit with you're party, you pay the fee. This isn't a junk fee. It is clearly presented when you select

That's been Southwest's business model for 40 years or more. It's not a secret and they do allow you to pay extra to board first. Otherwise, you need to check-in right when it opens. If that isn't acceptable to you there

Broken down or not, I want to know that my $75 phone bill will be $75 and not $87.62. Prepaid phone services manage this just fine, so it isn't difficult.

Fine. You can list the price in an ad before tax, so long as you make that VERY clear. There is no excuse for not listing the all-in price on the shelf or tag in the store. The person who completes my transaction will be charging me the exa

Well, yeah, when traveling you kind of have to do that especially since it's unlikely you know the exact exchange rate at that moment. It would quickly become unacceptable to live that way every day of your life unless you are particul

If you have a neighborhood or off-site car rental location near you the experience is usually far better than airport locations. You also usually save a bunch of taxes and fees that only apply to airport locations.

Well with cars it might be a decade before you get to exercise your market power. Also, since so much of the experience can be hyperlocal it can be hard to do the research that could steer you elsewhere.
