I made a little bit more robust version. Some of the whois calls (like heroku.com) have 2 OrgName lines and some don't have one at all (like weebly.com). Amazon.com, Inc. 7 youos.com jamglue.com shoutf

The best voters are going to be the ones who take the time to read and evaluate what they're voting on. They're naturally going to get outpaced by people who vote reflexively based on titles (Ron Paul syndrome) or who go for short attention

Cool. Both of those are on our todo list. Using an arbitrary domain works, but we haven't put it in the ui because it requires some work from the user and we want to make sure there is appropriate help so that it does not confuse anyone.

Yeah that was a bug; I just deployed a fix. We weren't ready for people putting periods in their usernames. My guess is that you changed it to public right after the fix. Thanks.
