I read a little of both. Incidentally, I'm reading Rhythm of War (from the Stormlight Archives) right now. :)

I really loved Powermonger when I was a kid. I'm surprised it didn't take off to be more popular than it was.

I agree. I stupidly ordered a copy of Bach's Well-Tempered Klavier from Amazon and it just arrived yesterday, and the back cover was all bent along the edge because they did a terrible job of packing it.

I wondered if that Fry’s was some kind of dumping ground for returned shit from all the other Fry’s or something. It is so bad.

I was at Fry’s on Garland Rd in Dallas a few years ago and it was horrible. I wanted to pick up a hard drive that day rather than order one, but (and I am not exaggerating) literally every single hard drive on their shelves had one of those

I wasn't familiar with CRDTs until Chris McCord started talking about them wrt Phoenix Channels. Really cool and interesting stuff.

I don't understand these things. I've gone to a few estate sales thinking maybe I can get some cool stuff for a decent price. But no, every one I've gone to they were asking insane prices for everything.

I commented before reading the article, just going by memory of reading about this before. Perhaps I was wrong about it not making sense in the language, but more that it isn't necessary when using ReactReason because the concept is bu

You wouldn't necessarily use ReasonML instead of React, you can use them together. You would use ReasonML instead of whatever Babel/es6/es7/typescript/whatever. Here is the official React binding (or whatever you

I was using 1.1.1.1 with AT&T Fiber and it stopped working. I didn't really question it, I figured maybe something went down at Cloudflare so I just switched my Mac back to using the defaults again. It never even occurred to me tha

Oh, interesting! Perhaps Bach wrote it for lute in g minor and Williams plays it in a minor on guitar? I didn't think of that. Wikipedia seems to agree with you on the key: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suite_in_G_

I found the one I'm talking about on Apple Music, John Williams playing them on guitar. It's BWV 995 for lute, and it is in a minor. fwiw on cello it's BWV 1011.

Incidentally one of his lute suites is the same as the c minor cello suite. Except I think on lute it's in either a or e minor, I forget now. I don't know whether the cello suite came first or the lute suite though. But as a violi
