Definitely NOT hosting my own DNS. I've got my domains registered at invisiondomains.com and am hosting someplace else. Over at invisiondomains, I set up the nameservers and aimed my domains at the new nameservers. My initial post was an

Ok. So I'm not crazy. It's incredibly helpful to know that 2 days of downtime doesn't mean my host is a lemon per se and that I should reconcile myself to some serious downtime over the weekend (which is the best time to be down for me).

Same experience. Upon which, I left the site. Don't show me the flip button unless I can use it. Also, I didn't know the buttom was a kill switch. I thought it was a vote IN FAVOR of the search result, like a Digg or something.

Is this a link to a spam blog? Never trust a news story with adsense between the headline and first paragraph. Never trust a news story where the byline is someone's initials and not a full-name.

Well-said. I'm coming at this from a media perspective. So the use case is always "online magazine." Right now, I'd go with Drupal for that, since its got features WP doesn't and much better access control. But WP is catching up.....

Sheesh. How long until WP, with regular, excellent upgrades surpasses Drupal, which is loads more "powerful" but has a much slower development cycle and a lousy, awful UI?

Actually, as no one had yet posted a comment, I tried to sum up the gist of the article in one short sentence, thinking it might provoke actual discussion. I think we're probably both pretty skeptical about the latest orthodoxy-challenging

So depression is the sensation of my brain atrophying. Actually, that explains a lot. First thing I did after reading this? I went for a short, but hard run.

Hey everyone! Just got back from taping. It went pretty well. I wore a blue suit (blue shirt, dark tie) and while I don't think I knocked it out of the park, I certainly did alright. It was an 8 minute segment and I was on a panel with t

That's exactly what I'll do. Great plan. They did warn me against white shirts, so I'm on top of that one.

I had a 20 minute pre-interview with one of the producers a little while ago. Went well. Just got my hair cut. The lady at Great Clips wished me well. So I've got that going for me. And I had my people pull up some fun facts in case I need

I know the girl in the featured relationship. She is in fact quite a looker. It's funny to read about her in this context.

Wow. So unless you've got the cash and know-how to build a sleek page that's cached and all that junk...adsense is going to be a low earner for you?

Have definitely looked at Drigg. It shows a lot of promise, especially if they can get multi-level taxonomy going. The patch is in the works but hasn't been committed yet.

I've thought about that. However, I think branding and having a sense of identity is very important, in fact, as this isn't a tech play, but a content and community play, I think it'd be crucial, so being on reddit.com or wordpress.com to
