Is it a matter of not caring, or is it simply the easier and better solution? Even if something is available on a streaming service, you have to deal with low bitrates, missing subtitles and audio tracks, wrong editions, and even ads.

I occasionally set up notifications when apps make requests using NetGuard and let it run for a day. The result is always depressing, lots of apps phoning home that I haven't opened in days... I let it run today, and the worst offender

Keep in mind that using LegacyFox is not a silver bullet. It will disable sandboxing and add-on signing, which will impact the security of your browser.

There is also Keyoxide[1]. The goal is similar to Keybase (online identify proofs), but Keyoxide uses a decentralized approach where the identity proofs are stored on the key themselves. [1] https://keyoxide.org

For me personally, I have little motivation to do classical sudokus. They either have a not-so-elegant solve path (usually set by a computer) or are too difficult for me to solve. Variant sudokus on the other hand are a lot of fun. They oft

Haskell is perfectly suitable for web dev, and has a great ecosystem for it. Servant[1] allows you to create type-safe APIs, and there are many libraries that allow you to define your HTML in a type-safe way. The Haskell wiki lists some oth

People who run this or something similar (Jellyfin, Plex, Navidrome, etc.), what do you use to easily add new music? Do you just log into Lidarr, or are there music players that have a nicer integration for this?

Automated theorem proving is a concept that has been around for a long time already. Isabelle's sledgehammer strategy combines automatic theorem provers (E, Z3, SPASS, Vampire, ...) and attempts to prove/refute a goal. In theory t

The Arch wiki is really good for things like this, and is hardly Arch specific (other than package names). Searching "YubiKey" brings me here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/YubiKey#Linux_user_authenti... .
