One of my pet peeves is CLI newbies who always have the need to cd into some directory before running a command. I learnt pretty early on that this was stupid. Just run your command from the repo root or $HOME.

As a late 40-something I've recently had to start using readers. I went to the optometrist and got a £70 pair which I broke within the first 6 months. After one or two more pairs I thought - fuck this and just ordered a cheap pack of 5

But Brits can't pronounce their own words properly half the time, in English! Ask a Brit to pronounce "drawing" - you'll get "drawring" back. Source: expat living in Britain

Anglicised spelling are probably often due to a change from a local alphabet to the one I'm using now.

This. OP has posted a classic first world problem. I'd get the closest thing I can find that does the job at a reasonable price and be happy with it, my life, and move on.

It's more a server thing than an ansible thing per se I think. People who need to actually manage servers, rather than higher level abstractions like containers or serverless functions I'm sure would still use it, but that number

It's likely they will need a substantial revenue stream to prevent the city sinking further into the Adriatic given the problem with rising sea levels. Time to look to the Dutch to help out with some levees/dykes sooner rather tha

We used a large amount of local physical storage spread pretty evenly over the machines in the cluster and then gave this to Longhorn to manage. It pretty much takes care of everything else. But does require some preventative TLC

My startup just bypassed all this container stuff and went straight for AWS Serverless. If you design it well, it works excellently. If/when we need long-running workloads we'll go to containers but thus far we're just rockin
