I just read somewhere today that their new code completion tool, CodeWhisperer, is better at Amazon APIs than GitHub Copilot (makes sense).

I think they struck the right balance. Pages are declarative functions much like React and they only appear to use classes for state or component wrappers.

Not a super creative, fun "event" per-se, but we have weekly virtual team lunches on Monday where the company orders everyone doordash and we hop on a zoom call to eat and chat. YMMV
