It sounds like the NJ AG is saying, "Someone in NJ may have downloaded and run the code written by Tidbit and said code may have done things which are not allowed in NJ, hence Tidbit must provide said code to the NJ AG." But it do

The power scavenging circuit looks to not be the same frequency as the communications radio circuit due to antenna size differences. Likely it's harvesting power from 2.4 GHz or similar frequency and then using the higher (24 GHz-ish)

Article says: The antenna had to be small, one-tenth the size of a Wi-Fi antenna, and operate at the incredibly fast rate of 24 billion cycles per second. Sounds like 24 GHz. But all your critiques are still very valid. But if you can bl

SPI flash is usually NOR flash (not NAND like you'd find in an SD card or SSD). NOR flash is usually SLC and will take 100k writes/erases and is quite simple to access (as compared to MLC NAND which only usually takes 3k erases a

Many SD cards have wear leveling built in, but most of the algorithms and CPUs used for the controllers are quite crap at wear leveling. If you start looking at more industrial targeted SD cards you'll find quite decent wear leveling.

Copper is quite expensive for long cable runs, but your point about pushing lower voltage DC needing super conductors is true compared to high voltage DC not needing super conductors. You can also use the earth as a return in an AC system.

Lower frequency (50/60 Hz) AC is the only really useful choice for transmission on low cost long runs (think 100 km and more). To push high voltage DC on long runs generally means special cables and possibly super conductors. Pushing
