I agree, they want to remain stealthy and keep the prying eyes of journalists and rivals out but need to be able to convince potential employees to actually contact them.

Unbelievable. Why is it that the Government never consults groups which know about internet privacy and freedom like the Open Rights Group but consult "Consumer rights groups" which usually work on retail issues. I'm not sure if any UK poli

Congrats, the startup i'm working on http://getdealy.com/creative got to 1000 in a few days as well, but this was mostly by Forrst Ads and telling users we had on a couple of other design lists about the deal.

This is to be expected, I think it's good that Google isn't doing what companies like Yahoo are doing and rivalling their own products or releasing a half hearted integration between products. Google is linking all of their services neatly

But of course this tech is built into YouTube, the most popular video streaming site on the internet. It pretty much automatically becomes a mass market tool.

There's probably a correlation between intelligence and technical skill (using a computer), if you're intelligent you've got a higher chance of actually learning how it works or picking it up faster. Many of those which are intelligent and

I suppose you can read all the startup stories you like but in the end you won't learn anything unless you just jump in, see how it goes and iterate from what you learn. I think Hacker News has taught me a lot though, i'm not saying learnin

Make it more clear what you get, i'd consider signing up right now if I knew the kinds of things you offer, instead of so many stock images. Also I had to scroll down to the bottom to understand the product, maybe try to make it clearer fro

I believe so. Opera show cased this beta email design/feature set which was very appealing for anyone not interested in using Google's services. They do seem to be innovating though, the new Gmail design is much better in my opinion and if

I prefer Goo.gl as it looks more like Google but I guess the shorter the better. There's http://gplus.co/ for Google profiles at the moment (unofficial) so G.co would be cool. Update: I thought they'd just replaced Goo.gl but looks like i

Impressive, surely this can't 'just' be early adopters like many say? I mean considering Google has total integration between search, mail and other products I feel Google+ can be very successful. Also this is about a 1/5 of MySpace and it'

I don't think i'd work for any large corporation at this time of my life. Maybe if I launched something which was acquired and had a good amount of freedom.
